People complaining about this being an illegal hit. First of all, Pierre Thomas wasn’t a “defenseless player.” Also, Pierre Thomas went down, leading with his HEAD. I’m sorry, but if you don’t want to get hit in the head like that, you don’t do that. These games are FAST. Whitner went down for a tackle. And he made a ridiculous hit! That set the tone for the game, for sure.
And don’t even get me started on Roman Harper’s helmet to helmet hit on Smith that was A NO CALL.
